About UMA
Yes, UMA is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES.org). Please review our accreditations, approvals and memberships
If you’ve earned credits at another school, those credits may be eligible for transfer toward your program at UMA.
UMA does not guarantee transfer of credits from UMA to another institution or from another institution to UMA.

UMA does not offer a traditional for most UMA Online students. However, UMA Online students receive other holidays off including:
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Break
- Winter Break
UMA Online EMT students and those at our Clearwater Campus do have a Spring Break in addition to the holidays listed above. For specific dates and more information about school breaks, take a look at the UMA Catalog and Supplements
Enrollment
If you have an acceptable high school diploma, GED or state recognized equivalent and want to begin career training at UMA, you can start the admissions process by clicking on “Get Started” located at the top right corner of our website or by calling 888-205-2510. We’re ready to answer your questions.

Tuition and Financial Aid
Tuition for UMA Online’s associate degree or diploma programs are $475 per credit hour.*
Tuition for Clearwater Campus associate degree programs are the diploma program cost plus $430 per credit hour for GE/Elective courses after completion of the diploma program. For Clearwater Campus diploma programs’ tuition and fees, please refer to our catalog.

An applicant may cancel his/her enrollment within 72 hours of signing the enrollment agreement without incurring any financial penalty.
UMA calculates refunds within 30 days of the date of determination, and calculations are based on the student’s last date of attendance.

Use the UMA School Code (035493) to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- I received my 1098T electronically, but I cannot download the form.
Ensure you are using Internet Explorer as your browser. Other browsers may not support the download. If you are still having trouble with the download on Explorer, please call ECSI at 866-428-1098 for assistance. - How do I locate the tax id # on my 1098T form?
The tax id# is listed in one of the top left boxes under the UMA address. - I did not request electronic delivery of my 1098T form. When can I expect to receive my documents in the mail?
If you do not receive your documents by February 15, please call the Student Finance Department at 877-246-7918. - I need assistance with my PIN to download my 1098T form. Where can I find this information?

Hardware and Technical Troubleshooting
To log on to the UMA Online classroom, visit UMALearning.com. If you don’t have your username and password, click on the “Forgot Your Password?” link and follow the instructions there. For additional assistance, please call Classroom Support at 888-216-1667.
UMA does offer .edu emails to students. With this resource, you can reach out to your instructor, add it to your resume and LinkedIn profile, stay connected with UMA’s alumni network after graduation, and even get a discount on Amazon Prime. Remember to check your inbox regularly for important communications from UMA.
Technical support for a new laptop (if qualified) is provided by Staples®. Contact them for technical support, warranty issues, and repairs by calling 877-233-6663.

If you have qualified to receive this laptop through the UMA Laptop Program, there is no additional cost to you.

Miscellaneous
Visit the UMA Fan Shop to select and purchase branded items.
UMA typically hosts two commencement ceremonies per year. Each graduating student can attend one ceremony. Which ceremony you will be assigned to participate in depends on your graduation date. Eligible graduates will receive information via email as your commencement ceremony approaches.
