April Neumann
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, WORKFORCE TRANSFORMATIONApril Neumann is Executive Vice President of Workforce Transformation at Ultimate Medical Academy. She leads the integration of several key departments at UMA, including Education, Career Services, Continuing Medical Education, the Clearwater Campus, Workforce Development (including Nasium Training), and the Office of Transformation. She also guides the seamless coordination of critical functions that support new program growth and increased grant awards, such as those related to education, research, and development.
Neumann has played a major role in numerous strategic initiatives during her 14-year tenure. Among them is her impact on UMA’s placement efforts, launching the Corporate Alliance initiative that placed more than 2,000 graduates on the 2023-2024 cohort with healthcare employer partners across the country. She also led the growth of an online externship program with more than 22,000 national locations and serves as a Transformation Planning Group member and Executive Sponsor for UMA’s Vision 2030 strategic transformation effort.
Neumann is on the Board of Directors for CareerSource Tampa Bay and the American Cancer Society’s Tampa Bay Leadership Board. She was recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as a member of its 40 Under 40 Class of 2019, honoring the most influential young people in Tampa Bay business.
Neumann holds a Bachelor of Arts from Northeastern University.
